S/C Committee sets policy regarding training, methods, format, arbitrates disputes, investigates complaints, develops new groups, analyzes data on attendance, identifies trends and tries to accommodate the needs of facilitators and groups. S/C Committee is comprised of seven facilitators, the President, and the immediate Past President, and is chaired by the Vice President. The S/C Committee members are selected by current S/C Committee members based on proven moral compass, years of service and exemplary behavior. The Chief Facilitator and Facilitator Coordinator are the only members who are not voted in and only remain on the committee for the duration of their tenures as Chief Facilitator and Facilitator Coordinator. S/C Committee meets once a month on the second Wednesday at 5:45 in room 118.
